ITSS To Host National Apprenticeship Week 2019 Event

New “Killer Factors” Workshop Scheduled for 6 March 2019

ITSS has been engaged to deliver our highly-praised “Killer Factors That Make or Break Training Providers” workshop during National Apprenticeship Week, 2019 (4-8 March).

We will be delivering the event at Jurys Inn Birmingham, 245 Broad St, Birmingham B1 2HQ, on 6 March 2019, starting at 10.00am.

The event, subtitled “Understanding and identifying the critical Dos and Don’ts for high quality apprenticeship delivery” will navigate attendees through the minefield of the current Apprenticeships landscape. Unprecedented changes within the apprenticeships market have created both chaos and opportunity for training providers and –  nearly two years since the launch of the apprenticeship levy – we’ve witnessed new training providers emerge and existing providers consolidate and/or diversify their apprenticeship portfolios or simply leave the sector altogether.

With the growth of new apprenticeship providers, including Employer Providers (employers who deliver their own, internal apprenticeship programmes) this workshop is particularly useful for understanding the key requirements and obligations of an apprenticeship training provider, as well as the common pitfalls to avoid.

The event is a ‘must attend’ for new entrant apprenticeship training providers, aspiring Employer Providers and those considering apprenticeship delivery for the first time.  Delegates will gain:

  • A better understanding of their roles and responsibilities as apprenticeship training providers,
  • An breakdown of the component parts needed to deliver apprenticeships.
  • An appreciation of the implications of delivering apprenticeships.
  • An understanding of how to maximise outputs and outcomes from delivering apprenticeship training.

Who Should Attend?

The target audience will be any organisation interested in becoming a high quality training provider, including brand new apprenticeship training providers on RoATP;  recent apprenticeship training providers on RoATP;  established providers on RoATP experiencing problems/issues with delivering apprenticeships;  providers that are considering delivering apprenticeships for the first time;  aspiring employers who wish to deliver their own apprenticeship training as Employer Providers and employed staff that are new or recent to the apprenticeship sector.
